The purpose is purely to keep your bookkeeping accurate, not to give anyone access to your account.A quick word about Open BankingSome screens in MazApp and at your bank mention Open Banking. This is just the name of the technology behind your bank feed. It is the same thing, so there is no need to worry if you see it referred to either way.The connection itself is handled by TrueLayer, an FCA regulated data partner. Before you startTo make setup smooth, have the following ready:Use your business bank account, not a personal oneHave your account number and sort code to handKeep your mobile banking app nearby, as your bank will ask you to approve the connectionStep 1: Open the bank feed settings in MazAppLog in to MazApp, go to Settings, then choose Open Banking from the menu on the left.Click Set up Open Banking to begin.Step 2: Review and allow the connectionThe connection is handled by TrueLayer, our FCA regulated data partner. This screen shows exactly what will be shared:Your nameYour account number and sort codeYour balanceYour transactions, direct debits and standing ordersNothing more than this is shared.
