It confirms company details.Full guidance from Companies House is available here:https://www.gov.uk/file-a-confirmation-statement-with-companies-houseWhat information does it confirm?A Confirmation Statement checks and confirms: Company name and registered office address Directors and company secretary details Shareholders Share capital and share structure People with Significant Control SIC code, which describes your business activity If anything has changed, those changes must usually be updated before or at the same time as filing the Confirmation Statement.When is it due?A Confirmation Statement must be filed at least once every 12 months.The 12 month period is called the review period and is based on: The date your company was incorporated, or The date your last Confirmation Statement was filed Companies House will send reminders, but the legal responsibility to file remains with the directors.If it is not filed on time, Companies House can start action to strike the company off the register.Is there a filing fee?Yes.
